Tillamook Cheese

If you buy Tillamook Cheese....it is sealed in a paraffin plastic. 'They' say that it does not have to be refrigerated. If you do open it though...you have to eat it in one sitting or refrigerate it after. But for food storage ideas....stock up.

  2. The locals here in Tillamook take to putting it in a brown paperbag, to keep out the light, wrapping that with a rubber band, and storing it in the back of a cupboard. Aged cheese for the price of medium :) It ages well, altho some liquid will separate after a year or so. Once in awhile tho, one will go bad if the plastic sealing is harmed.

  3. Also you can buy your own Paraffin wax and reseal it so that you don't have to eat it so quick if you dont have refrigeration! One thing that helps is also to buy it in smaller packages so if you can't reseal it you can actually eat it all!
